Step One: Boiling the Milk

Add the required amount of milk into your Instant Pot. Close the lid and make sure it’s closed properly and press the yogurt button. Once you press yogurt button, the display will show BOIL in status and a 2 hours countdown will start. Make sure the milk reaches a temperature of 180F. Stir it once or twice and recheck the temperature to know the milk is perfectly heated as required.

Step Two: Let the Milk Cool Down to 110F

Let the milk cool naturally that will take more than an hour.

Place the pot of milk in a tub of cold water or sink full of cold water and it will hardly take more than 10 minutes. There is no need to panic if the milk temperature drops below 110F. The temperature between 100F to 115F will be just fine.

Step Three: Add the Yogurt Starter
