How to make a milkshake without ice cream and a blender guideline
You don’t normally have a container of vanilla ice cream in your freezer because kids won’t leave it there. Secondly, your blender machine might be out of order so we have figured out a way to make milkshakes without using blenders and ice cream. It is simple as lighting a candle.
You don’t have to use ice cream and a blender to make great-tasting milkshakes that have the same texture as the traditional ones made by using a blender and ice cream. So here we go!
Ingredients and tools
For a quick and easy milkshake without ice cream and blender, you need the following four basic ingredients and tools.
- Ice Cubes (Preferably crushed ice)
- Banana / Strawberries
- Whisk (Electric, Manual or Egg Whisk)
Cut the bananas into small pieces into a plastic container. You can add some strawberries if you like. Use a fork to mash the cut bananas and strawberries until you see no chunks.
Add milk, sugar, and mix using a whisk. By whisk we mean an electric whisk, a manual whisk and if you don’t have both, you can use an egg whisk for mixing.
Once mixed, add a few ice cubes, mix for 5 sec and there you have a delicious and creamy milkshake without using blender and ice cream. You can add ice cream to enhance the flavor if you want to. Pour the milkshake into a glass, top it with whipped cream, add any topping and ENJOY!
Glass Jar Method:
You can make a delicious milkshake using a glass jar by following few simple steps.
Mash bananas/strawberries using a fork just like we did in the previous method.
Add the mashed bananas/strawberries into the glass jar, add sugar, milk and place the lid on the jar.
Shake the jar vigorously until the ingredients are well-mixed. Once mixed well, pour it into a glass, top it with whipped cream along with crushed Oreo cookies and there is your glass of creamy milkshake without using blender and ice cream.
Most people think that no ice cream milkshakes made with basic ingredients have a thin texture and don’t have the right consistency and that’s not true. The thing is, it is not-adding enough bananas and strawberries that make the milkshake watery and thin.
If you feel your shake is thin, mash a banana and mix it with the milkshake using a whisk to make it thick enough. To take your milkshake to another level, you may add 3-4 smashed Oreo cookies on top of your shake. If not Oreo, you can go with 2-3 tablespoons of chocolate or 2-3 tablespoons of finely chopped chocolate candies. Do let us know how do you prefer to make a milkshake?
